Description
Delsym Extended Release Suspension provides up to 12 hours of cough relief for children with its unique time-release formula. This orange-flavored liquid contains dextromethorphan polistirex, which forms a protective coating that releases medication gradually throughout the day and night. Unlike other cough medicines that require dosing every 4-6 hours, Delsym's patented extended-release system means less frequent dosing for better compliance and uninterrupted sleep. The pleasant orange flavor makes it easier for children to take, and the alcohol-free formula is gentle on young systems. Delsym effectively suppresses dry, hacking coughs that can disrupt sleep and daily activities, allowing children to rest and recover more comfortably. This 3 oz bottle is perfect for treating coughs associated with minor throat and bronchial irritation as may occur with the common cold or inhaled irritants. The medicine is suitable for children 4 years and older and has been trusted by families for effective cough relief. The extended-release formula means fewer doses and better coverage when your child needs it most.
