Description

Nexium 24HR Delayed Release Capsules provide powerful, long-lasting heartburn relief with the same active ingredient trusted by doctors. Esomeprazole magnesium is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that blocks acid production at the source, offering 24-hour protection from frequent heartburn. Unlike antacids that neutralize acid after it's produced, Nexium 24HR prevents acid from being made in the first place. This delayed-release formula is designed to protect the active ingredient from stomach acid, ensuring it reaches the small intestine where it's absorbed into the bloodstream. Ideal for adults who experience heartburn two or more days per week, this medication provides consistent relief when taken as directed. The 28-count package offers a two-week treatment course, which may be repeated every four months if needed. Nexium 24HR is FDA-approved for over-the-counter use and has been clinically proven to provide superior acid control compared to other leading heartburn medications.

Suggested Use

Take one capsule daily with a glass of water at least one hour before eating. Swallow whole - do not crush, chew, or open capsules. For best results, take at the same time each day for 14 consecutive days. May take 1-4 days for full effect. Do not exceed 14 days of treatment or use more than three 14-day courses per year unless directed by a healthcare professional.
