Description

Take Action Emergency Contraceptive contains 1.5mg of levonorgestrel, the same active ingredient used in Plan B One-Step, providing effective emergency contraception when taken as directed. This FDA-approved emergency contraceptive can help prevent pregnancy when taken within 72 hours after unprotected intercourse or contraceptive failure, though it's most effective when taken as soon as possible. Take Action works primarily by preventing or delaying ovulation and may also prevent fertilization of an egg. It will not terminate an existing pregnancy and is not intended for routine use as a regular contraceptive method. This single-dose tablet offers a reliable backup option for unexpected situations, providing peace of mind when regular contraception fails or is forgotten. Take Action is available without prescription for individuals of all ages and has been clinically proven to reduce the risk of pregnancy by up to 89% when taken within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse.

Suggested Use

Take one tablet by mouth as soon as possible within 72 hours (3 days) after unprotected intercourse or contraceptive failure. The sooner it's taken, the more effective it will be. Can be taken with or without food. If vomiting occurs within 2 hours of taking the tablet, contact a healthcare provider immediately as another dose may be needed.
